I need to make changes to websites that use DWT files. To do that, we
use Dreamweaver, which propagates the changes to all the other files. However, it's a real waste because it would be much easier to just edit the files in Notepad instead of waiting until the machine with Dreamweaver is available. Is there another tool you recommend (especially something free) that will also propagate changes from DWT files to the other files without needing to use Dreamweaver? Two criteria are: 1) It must not mess up Dreamweaver; so if someone edits the template with Dreamweaver later on, it still must work. 2) I don't want to have to re-architect everything (at least in the short-term), so changing everything to server-side includes isn't an option here. Thanks! |

Hi,
looking for a FREE dreamweaver-program? Think your requests are leading onto that lane. Better buy and use the latest edition of DW and do not ask such silly questions. brgds, MS "Newba" <jonaanoj@aol.com> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:4abe1d94-6e5a-4d19-88f0-5c368be1437f@64g2000hsw.googlegroups.com... >I need to make changes to websites that use DWT files.
