I need to create a multi user chat appliation in shockwave which will allow
text chats, voice chats & video chats. Can anyone guide me how to go about
with this project? Is there any xtras that will help me in getting this done.

Why did you choose Director/Shockwave over Flash?

I have created text based chats earlier in shockwave which was very simple.
Creating a group chat or one - one chat was very easy in shockwave. Now I
wanted to know if we could create a voice & video based chat too in shockwave.
Now if it is not possible in shockwave and if there are options to do so in
flash, could you please guide me?

The absolute best way to do this is to build a simple web service control in
Flash and embed it into your director movie as a cast member. At least this is
how I do it. You can probably find the Flash code online for next to nothing.
