It would be best to close the project, rename both CPD files (e.g. Javelina
Online Help (CS) Old.cpd) and then reopen the project and recompile. A single
CPD file should be created. If you get two back again post back as there must
be something else wrong with the project. Once you have a single CPD file and
you are sure everything is OK with your project you can delete the two old .cpd
files.

Colum,

I renamed the files CPD files as you suggested and recompiled. Now I have
three CPD files.

#1. Javelina Online Help (CS) oldest1.cpd 808KB 3/13/2008

#2 Javalina Online Help (CS).cpd 1,248KB 12/1/2008

#3. Javalina Online Help (CS) old.cpd 45,592 KB 11/26/2008

I just measured the time it takes J to save a small change to an existing
topic: 35 seconds. After naming a number of changes to the same topic, I
resaved it. The screen timed out at 35 seconds. Once I moved the cursor within
the topic, J reactivated the topic display and showed it as saved.

Does this seem normal to you?

Many thanks...

glenn
