Do you have a server (like IIS) or did you install the
Server that comes with CF? Is the server started? > I'm using ColdFusion MX 7 > After installed this ColdFusion MX 7, i try to login to Administrator site > I go to All Program----Macromedia-----ColdFusion MX 7-----Administrator > The address is = http://127.0.0.1/CFIDE/administrator/index.cfm > I got this following error : > Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage > > Most likely causes: > You are not connected to the Internet. > The website is encountering problems. > There might be a typing error in the address. > > What you can try: > Check your Internet connection. I have a (fairly) fresh installation of ColdFusion 8 and I cannot get anything
to work after installing it, shutting down my Mac and restarting a day later. I did use the ColdFusion Launcher. When I use the Start ColdFusion panel and click on "Webserver Connection Utility" It asks for a password for my user account. It fails at that point, saying it is the incorrect password. Believe me, I know my password. This is a text installation for building CF data-centric websites. I could use Apache and MySQL but I would like to try CF. |
