Yes, I would definitely pay for a FreeHand MX update. Most of my rendering work is in this program.

I've been a dedicated FreeHand user since 1989. I would probably upgrade only
if they went back to FH9 for the design and functionality of the panels. This
may sound nit-picky but in my opinion FH went downhill in many ways after
version 9 as far as the GUI is concerned. If they did an upgrade but kept the
poorly designed GUI we find in FH10 and MX, I personally would see no reason to
upgrade.

I continue to use FH9 all the time, which means rebooting into OS9, but to me
it's worth it.

I only use Adobe Irritator (10 or CS2) when I absolutely have to... I must
watch my blood pressure you know. When I do have to use Irritator, I usually
start with FH and then cut and paste or place the project into Irritator.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!

I would in a flash. Even as the not modified actual version but ported as a
Universal App, Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard compatibility (Printing fonts issue, Snap
to grid short cut etc etc)

Signatures won't matter.

Competition will.

:brokenheart; I too can not see using illustrator over FREEHAND. WITHOUT
FREEHAND I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO RUN MY PRINT SHOP AND SIGN SHOP. Of course,
I'd upgrade to FreeHand as it combines the abilities of illustrator and
pagemaker, and then some. FreeHand is my # 1 software tool !!!!!!!!!!

Mac User since the Mac Plus. FreeHand user since Version 3.

Yes. I would buy an update / upgrade.
In Portugal most graphic designers work with FreeHand. And people who are
forced to migrate for other app, most of the times, prefer to migrate to Corel
than to Adobe Illustrator. It would be nice to see an Adobe Freehand for
real....

Let?s hope there?s more (a lot more) FH users to speak up now

i would love to see Freehand in the future as Open Source App.
But i guess Adobe will be afraid of competition.

As long as Freehand runs on Leopard, i will still use it. Everytime i have to
use Illustrator i get angry because a lot of functions are just hidden or
impossible straight away.

Freehand 4 ever!
