Hi Everyone,
Thanks to all who have put their names here in support of an upgrade for our beloved Freehand MX. We need more names, more support for the course. Yes, we are reaching the 3 figures soon. So lets keep the discussion simple. Thanks again. Jack Png |

Over the years, I'd been forcing to use InDesign (PageMaker) then Illustrator
(FreeHand), they're good but certainly not a replacement. FreeHand v0.95 was my first ever digital drawing program, and depend on it for my living since then. YES, I will upgrade FH with Adobe just to keep its alive. FreeHand user since 1988. |

I doubt that you would see multipage in CS4 as InDesign already has that feature.[/q] Maybe you doubt it, but I've seen it in the action by the person who's on the Adobe's early tester list. If you wan't I can try to upload screenshots of this new multipage feature. It's quite similar to FH's but more complicated - Freehand's multipage is at least one-to-two click simplier for use. |

Any other features borrowed from Freehand that you liked? Good news indeed. While adding a multi-feature they should remove one too, like multi-arrow feature. Jukka |

I have been a primary user of FH for
10+ years... and will continue to design with it! I've got thousands of FH documents and I intend to make 1000's more! So YES!!! I WOULD GLADLY PAY FOR A UPGRADE! FH deserves a rebirth... Stand-Up People! They Must Listen! There is a market for this Incredible Software! |

You can count me in to upgrade. I've used Freehand since the beginning and
have hundreds of documents that are not portable over to Illustrator. I really like doing all my work in one program. I'm surprised Adobe didn't take the best out of Freehand and roll it into Illustrator. Gary |

Of course I would but now it's clear it's a fool's course. Adobe has moved on
and the only thing they will do (continue to) is attempt to include some FreeHand functions in Illy. I have CS2 Illustrator and InDesign (and produced a few projects), but time and time again my FreeHand does the job quickly and effortlessly. |
