Default "the link could not be updated..."

"The link could not be updated, please select a valid import file" -
this message appears after trying to open document in FH10. I've FH10 file,
includes background image (photoshop tiff about 350MB)+vector data above. After
updating this file in Photoshop, FH rejects the updated file, and message
appears (see above). Before i used JPG files (about 40MB), but FH seems don't
like JPGs at all. So, i begin to use TIFF files, and till now everything was OK.
Any idea?
Thanks a lot.

How large is this TIFF? Does it really need to be as physically large
as it is and/or as hi-res as it is? In the end you may be better off
breaking it up into multiple "tiles" and placing them in exact positions
to make up the one image.

hi Rich
yes, the background files needs to be 1:1 (70x100cm) 300 dpi; 2 detailed maps
that will be printed in offset full color press.
of course i prefer to use jpg files, that 10 times lighter, but FH don't like
it.
your suggestion about "tiling" is very interesting. thanks.
