Default FH is less responsive on new iMac

Hello all,

I have a new iMac and I find that FHMXa is less less responsive than on my
old G5. There is a slight delay when selecting points and object, and also
when moving them. Does anyone know is there is a "fix" for this?

Thanks

Wasn't Mel Gibson screaming FREEHAND at the end of the movie Braveheart!

Hi Bruce,

I take it you're using Leopard then? I recently bought a new Macbook with
Leopard and Freehand is running fine on it. Have you tried doing all your OS
updates? That's the first thing I did.

I'd be interested to know if it helps, also I would recommend bumping up the
ram to maximum which I think is 2G on the iMacs, it'll cost a bit but the
difference is astounding.

Cheers,
Colin

Colin,

I am using Leopard and it's all up to date. The iMac has 4GB of ram. Even
so, FH runs less responsive than on my old G5.
