I have Freehand MX documents that are being translated into Korean and were
translated in a "Gulim" font. I'm having trouble converting the text to the Korean characters, and it only results in the black dots. I do have this font installed on my computer. I don't read, write, or speak Korean. Does anyone have advice on how to do this or a resource of where to go for help? |

Gulim is most likely a OpenType (unicode) font with Korean characters in the extended character set which FreHand cannot access. The best way, I think, is use Illustrator CS3 for editing. The conversion will not be perfect, though. Another option is to create the text in Illustrator, InDesign, Corel, etc., convert the text to outlines and import into FreeHand. Jukka |

> Thanks for the reply. I downloaded a trial version of Indesign CS3, but haven't been able to find a way to import Freehand documents. Any advice on doing that? Sorry, not import but just File > Open. Jukka |
