Default upgrading

I have a question to anyone who can answer please. If you have Academic
Macromedia freehand 10 and you prefer fh to illustrator can you upgrade to
macromedia fh mx ? can it be done with the academic version?

It seems that Adobe Stotore do not have FreeHand at all. Also most of the programs do not have educational license. So only option may be buyingfull version or a used licence from a traitor who has started using Illustrator.
