I need to prepare my artwork to print in press, mass production. So how do I prepare it for printing a digital negative.

The best source of information is the service bureau or printing house who will do the job.

Usually vector art is delivered as pdf or eps. Digital negative (dng) is file format used mainly in digital photgraphy and I can see the point converting a vector image to dng.

If a bitmap image is required you can open exported eps (ai) in Photoshop and save as psd, eps, tiff, jpg.

Should be 'can't see the point', of course.

Make sure resolution is at least 300dpi for all images and leave a full bleed
with all text & images inside the safe zone. Your printer may have a template
or guide to follow. Also needs to be process color - no RGB.
