Default Objects pane

When I try to open the Objects pane from the Windows menu in MM Freehand MX, I
get an error message that reads, "Could not complete the request because an
unknown command was encountered." I tried restarting then even reinstalled the
program but nothing changes. Without the Objects pane there is no way to
control line weights or fills. I have to have this thing working, customers are
waiting for my drawings!

Reinstalling will not reset toolbar settings but they have to be deleted manually. As memory serves Windows version have option "remove personal files" in uninstall.

Windows has the files in folder like: C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data\Macromedia\FreeHand MX\11\English\Settings\ToolBars

In Mac probably something similar.

If this does not work delete the whole settings folder and FreeHand will copy new default settings on launch. !!! Make a BACKUP copy before deleting anything. !!!!
