Default Updates to FH 10?

I am currently running FH 10.4.9 and am having lots of printng problemsn--FH quits every time I issue a print command.

Is there an update to 10.4.9? If so where would I find it?

Thanks,

Jim

Are you talking about the Mac OS 10.4.9 If so, there is an update to 10.4.10

Just go to the Apple menu and then to Software Update...

This may not solve your printing problems. There are several "printing
problems" threads here that may apply to your particular situation.

Oops. Under the About Freehand it said version 10.4.7 I didn't notice that
that is the Mac OS version not the FH version number which is 11.0

I am currently on line with Adobe trying to update from FH 11.0 to 11.0.2
The download web site says I need to contact Adobe to do this. So I called
and they said that I first have to update to 11.0.1, but that is available
only in French. I asked to speak to a manager and was cut off.

Called back and, after a long run around, they said they will send me 11.0.1
by email--in a few days.

P.S. My reason for trying to update is that I am trying to fix a printing
problem. Every time I issue a print command, FH quits. This happens only in
FH.

We're SO much better off with Adobe running things, aren't we? ;o)

Their pipes must be full if it's taking them a few days to get emails pushed
through.

Speaking of version number, where does it say in Freehand? My ABOUT window
just says MX.

Darrel,

"About Freehand" opens a window which says MX, but just below that, in red, before it begins to scroll, there is the version number and the build number.

Judy,

I wasn't able to find your post about PPD. Where would I look.

My 'about freehand' has no such red version number. Odd.

However, I just noticed that the splash screen on launch does say 11.01
