Hi, I am running FH9 as I prefer it to MX, on WinXP home with SP1. I am
contemplating installing SP2 for some reasons and wonder if FH9 is stable with
such. If there are any users of FH9 with experience of such in the past or
perhaps still with FH9 and SP2 now, that could let me now what might or might
not happen I would be grateful.

I do find FH9 is a bit quirky on the PC, maybe graphics card drivers, even
happens at works PC, all or some of the tools or other icons vanish, simply
clicking on File top left brings them back. FH9 takes 3 or four launches to
launch, not enough memory it says, ( I have 2 Gb of Corsair ddram on a 3.4Ghz
P4...so its a quirk !) Dialog boxes ned stretching back out to last used size,
and guides need recolouring at each launch, silly things like that. I hope this
doesnt get worse. probably Graphics card driver as writers of such I would
imagine rarely consider progs like Freehand when writing drivers and FH9 was
out before the card was released. Anbody buying a card after their prog was
released might have fun and games, I wonder if graphics card companies ever
look to see what progs may be used by peeps, too many to consider, so how the
two relate and function beggers belief, another topic though and this one is
about SP2 and FH9 so I await replies on that .
