Default New to Freehand

Hi Everyone! I am fairly new to freehand. However, I have been learning the
software using a book that I purchased. I am having a problem with vector
shapes that I attempt to group. Once I group them I can't move them all in one
piece, can anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong.

I am using Freehand MXa 2004

Thanks

How are you selecting the group? Does the Object panel show 'Group'
highlighted? It should.

Use the black Pointer tool to select a group.

To subselect objects within a group, use the black pointer plus Option key
(Mac), or the white pointer.

If you read through the online Help under this topic, you'll learn more ways
to select in FreeHand.

Thanks I will give that a try! So far I love this software. An I have illistrator as well. However, I think that the learning curve is much greater.

It's different. Different software is always seen as 'being harder'.

All that said, do note that Freehand is a dead product and is no longer
being developed or upgraded. I wouldn't put a whole lot of effort into
learning Freehand just for the sake of learning it.
