It's ironic, but I still love version 9 of Freehand. Unlike many users
I have been using freehand since version 2. Once I got to 9 I found I had more than enough features to get the job done. I hope I never have to cross the line and be forced to use that other software. Today I've been working on a logo design and have been using the 'randomized named colors' feature to quickly try out different variations. Works for me. Anybody else using version 9? |

Version 9 of Freehand has a great feature of having the text tool change back to a pointer when the cursor is not over a text box. I like that, a lot. Often I'm using freehand 8 if there are issues with adobe type manager or corrupt fonts. It seems to handle font issues better. |
