I'm generating thumbnails of pretty decent quality. I've tried creating jpeg
and png output (thumbs). The PNG seem to have better clarity at the expense of
a slightly higher average file size.

When I view these in a normal file-viewer, the clarity is fine. But when
they're scaled down further (they're still quite large in HxW for various
reasons) by the pagedList (using com.adobe.renderers.MyTile, it seems), they
get pretty blurry.

Any tips for improving this? Should I try a different renderer (if so which)?
Are there any settings I can adjust for quality vs performance in the
rendering of these images?
