I need to display a time in a custom format on the screen, so I've used the
getMinutes() method and the equivalenet for hours, minutes, seconds. I
concatenate them into a string with colons between them. However, if it is
11:07, This results in 11:7 being displayed. How can I force this program to
display the extra 0 when necessary?

Tyr something like:

var display:String = ( hours < 10 ? "0" + hours : hours ) + ":" +
( minutes < 10 ? "0" + minutes : minutes ) + ":" +
( seconds < 10 ? "0" + seconds : seconds ) ;
