i have the same problem. On my part I am trying to passing a value from an XML
file generated by PHP and it also works out side the repeater. I am actually on
my 2nd day to fix and look for solutions. What i want to do is access the data
from my MySQL and pass it to a custom component ScrollingText so that it will
scroll across the screen.

Anybody had this working already??? Can you please give us the solution?
