I have a fair amount of work done in my latest Flex app so I ran memory
profiling on it in Flex Builder 3. I was surprised to see the memory steadily increase from about 6mb at startup, to 14mb after 5 minutes of just sitting there and doing nothing. Memory use flattens out at this point and remains steady until I login. I took a memory snapshot at 6mb and another when it reached 14mb. In comparing the two snapsots, I see no difference between the two. I cannot figure out what the memory is being allocated to during this 5 minute period at startup when I just let the app sit there in my browser. Has anyone had a similar experience? How can I figure out where the memory is going? |

n/m . I found the issue. It was a 3rd party component that loading a word list
in a fashion I didn't expect. I was able to find it using "Loitering Objects" http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php..._Performance_a nd_Memory_Profiling#Loitering_Objects_Panel |
