Default Generating Perlin Noise

Has anyone had experience using the Perlin Noise routine in Flex 3? I'm
looking to dynamically create some clouds for a site (they scroll across the
screen, get regenerated off-screen, and continue to scroll).

I've read the examples in the Flex manual, checked out most of the websites,
but can't find any working code examples (the one in the Flex manual refuses to
compile using my Flex3 SDK compiler).

Any help would be appreciated :smile;
