Default cross browser issue?

hello,

I have a flex image app here: http://brandonandpatty.com/?page_id=6. Works
fine in firefox 3.0.4 and Opera 9.27. However, there is a strange issue in IE
and Chrome - the thumbnail images show up fine, but when you click one to
display a larger image it gives a broken image link icon.

I have no idea why the browser would have influence in how the flashplayer
accesses remote image files, but it does in this case somehow. Any ideas on how
to fix this issue, or has someone had a similar problem? Thank you in advance!

If you enabled "View Source" it might be easier to figure out.

What's an example value of blownup_source? If possible, copy and paste
directly from the debug window.

Also, does this work in IE from the local machine?

here is a url from tracing blownup_source:

http://lh3.ggpht.com/_hgGfdQBdOMo/SS...MkU/Pics%20384
..jpg

it doesn't work in IE from local either. maybe something to do with how the
url's are parsed (the %20 after Pics), but not sure if/how the browser can
influence data passed by the flashplayer? -b

%20 is the url encoding of the space character, and it's not recommended to
have spaces in the path to a file you're accessing on the web.

thanks again Amy- i was afraid that this was true. I'll have to see if picasa can save the files without spaces- probable not because it's an internal mechanism going on. -b
