Default Flickering backgroundColor when removing a componentfrom displayList using a removedEffect

Hey folks. Please see the following video to see what's going on:

http://screencasts.bigbangtechnology...ransitions.mov

I have a component that has an addedEffect and a removedEffect attached to it.
When the component is removed, there is a 'flicker' in the backgroundColor or
the component. The child components do not get removed, but the
backgroundColor flickers and I can't figure out why. I've tried to set
suspendBackgroundProcessing on the removedEffect animation and it does change
the behaviour. With it set to true the background disappears completely during
the animation period. Please see the video and advise. I can provide any
source code needed to make things clearer.

Hi there,

If you have the chance to look this over please do! I'm really stumped.

Hey there. It's been a couple weeks and I'm still stumped on this. Should I log a bug in jira?

I remember looking at this, but without all the code it's difficult to
pinpoint. It's not a bug. It depends where/when in your code you are
adding/removing the child. It looks like it only happens the first time the
child is created.
Can you put up a simplified example with view source enabled?
