In the example SujitG refers to, change the effect from a Wipe to a Fade. Keep
in mind that when using a fade effect, you will first have to embed the font.
fades won't work on non-embedded fonts.

unless you set the blendMode on the Label or whatever to "layer."

I can not see the transition effect on the first tab of TabNavigator when page
shows up at very beginning. The transition
effect does show up when I change tabs from one to other.

Is there a way to make the transition effect showing when the page is
displayed at very first time?
