Default Web-tier compiler is not for production use

Hi All,

I have developed a web application using flex.

I have written a custom tag in Java to dynamically generate the MXML contents
on the JSP. I am using the runtime compiler web-tier to compile and deploye the
application at run time. I want to move this application to the production
environment.

But the web-tier compiler is not for the production use.
Please refer to the link for more information -
http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/htm..._1.html#205073

Please let me know why web-tier compiler can not be used for the production.
1) Is it because of some licensing issue?
2) or Is it because of some technical problem?

Is there any other runtime compiler availabe for the flex?

Thanks,
Puja
