I have populated combobox. 1-app,2-ball,3-ccccc.
Now I got the data from database and have to assingh selected value to 2 to combo.
How do I do that?

Hi,

You might have to loop through the dataProvider of the ComboBox trying to
match the object you want to keep selected and then set the selectedIndex of
the ComboBox to the index of the matched item or selectedItem to the matched
Object from the dataProvider and not the Object from the server.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for you instant reply.

I think there might be other way to solve it like combobox.selectedItem.value =..

You will need a value aware combobox and need to extend the current flex
object. Here is a previous answer I posted that addresses the same question.
