Default Offline viewing of videos

Hi,

I thought after downloading the videos in AMP, they can be viewed offline and
permanently stored in my machine. But why is it that they are lost everything
my machine is restarted?

I might be missing something and somebody here might help.

Thanks.

+1 for this problem.

I know I had downloaded them so I can watch them when I'm offline but it keeps saying I need an internet connection. How can I view these offline please?

Well the thing is that AMP only catches 6 videos at most but if you configure
AMP properly. What you could do is once the videos are downloaded to copy them
from the local store cache of AMP to another folder where the videos won't be
deleted. I really think Adobe needs to change this behavior pretty soon in AMP.

The downloaded videos are stored in cache under .flv format. Backing up those as and when you download will surely help.

I cannot believe this is stated on the flex in a week page:

You can now download and watch Flex in a Week videos in an offline mode. Here
are the instructions.

and it does not work. Yes you can watch them, but NOT offline.

Where does AMP store cache?
