Default Movie Wont Download!

Hey i have a simple flash document that i want to show a video. i have the user
put in a password and the timeline goes and stops on a keyframe where i have
placed a flash video file. (i have imported it selecting "progressive download
form a web server") i than use dreamweaver to put the files onto the site
including the flash video file and the swf for the player. the password works
and displays the video player but there is just the green lines indicating its
downloading or connecting or something, but no video. is there any kind of code
that goes along with playing the video? i am using flash CS3 with actionscript
3 (new to action script 3)
