Hello there,
my the toolbox in the actions panel has disappeared! Usually it looks like http://livedocs.adobe.com/flash/9.0/...S3e7c64e37a1d8 5e1e229110db38dec34-7ffc.html. But the actions toolbox is completely hidden, like http://dort.entlang.com/Actions_Toolbox_missing_01.gif. You can only try to click on the drop-down-menu, which is actually still http://dort.entlang.com/Actions_Toolbox_missing_02.gif, but the toolbox won't show up. I try to change the workspace, Resize the Panel, try to click between the drop-down menu and the reinstall Flash, but it didn't work. Any Ideas? Better... any possibility to change the workspace options for the actions panel manually as in dreamweaver using xml? |

If you click on Windows>Tools and put a check mark on it, it should show up.
If it shows up in the middle of the page, re-attach it to the side by draggin it over to the left side. It should automatically attach itself again. |

Toddster, the toolbar you are referring to is the "Tools" panel, not the
actions toolbox. Entlang, the toolbox should still be there, but it looks as though it is minimized, and the top of the panel is getting chopped off, something I've not seen before, and cannot reproduce on my system. If I could reproduce it, I could figure out how to fix it. My guess is that you have come across a glitch. If you cannot hit the arrow below the drop-down, and the problem is not fixed after re-installing Flash, then you may be out of luck here. Regardless, every function in the toolbox is available in the + button just to the right of where the toolbox should be sitting. |

For anyone who wishes to have this problem fixed, email me at
anmatrncbldr@hotmail.com and I will use a program called TeamViewer to connect to your computer and I will fix the problem myself. I will be able to see your desktop and your cursor, and I will be able to move your cursor and type stuff onto your screen (although I shouldn't need to type anything). Once fixed, or admit to defeat, simply close out of the program and my connection to your computer will be severed. The program runs from your computer but doesnt install anything so no worries about some wierdo program you will never again you have to uninstall. -Jesse |

well, If you are worried about viruses and such security issues, I can
understand, however you should not fear. Without seeing the problem first hand, I don't know how to fix it. Take a look at www.teamviewer.com and maybe you will change your mind about running the software. As I said before, it will not install anything on your computer like a normal program would, it simply runs and as soon as you close out it will dissapear and your computer will display no knowledge of it even running on your computer. It is from a trusted site and I have used it many times with my friends. When you run the program, it displays a random id number and a password, to which you would have to email me. When I enter in the login info to my side, (identical to yours), I can click connect and control your computer. If you feel something is fishy, you can close out of the program and it will instantly sever my connection to your computer and will not leave any traces behind. I am sure however you are still weary, so I will have to examine you pics one more time. |
