I would like to recreate the twinkling stars animation as shown on this page
for the 3D Spray Brush Tool: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/...&promoid=DRIMV How is the randomness of the twinkling achieved? When I made a movie clip of a star that dissolved in and out, all the stars pulsated simultaneously. Is there a specific tutorial for that? I'd hate to think that Adobe pulled some sort of sleight of hand to fool us into thinking it's so easy. Also, I want to do a "Star Wars" opening credits type of animation, where the type crawls in perspective. I tried crawling type (as a movie clip) vertically inside of a movie clip that was angled back, but in the SWF, the type if flat-on. What's up with that? Please help. Thanks. |

Weird, I just blogged something like this. It isn't nearly as random though,
but just another option - http://flashthusiast.com/2008/12/10/...tween-instance -new-motion-as3-fancy-jsfl-profit/ |

The groups will, yes. There are three different pulsations/flickers in the file
above. You can make as many groups as you can handle though, just make sure to set the random ease to different numbers in each tween. I chose to do 3 different ones, you could do 50 or whatever amount. |
