Ken,
My guess is that the sides are there but you can't see them either because you are not looking at it at 100% (you already confirmed you are) or maybe a non standard screen resolution? I followed the tutorial and I am seeing all four sides. Could you save the png file and upload it somewhere so we might take a look at it? Seems to be working fine for me....
http://fasterthanu.com/misc_images/rectangle.fw.png This is the FWs png so if you want to open it with your copy of FWs and see if it still all there. The stroke is centred on path Btu but I tried the other variants and they seemed to work as well. What version of FRS are you using?
