Recently I put a message out there that I needed help with some CSS issue with
my FW created naviagttion for my website. Now people are telling me that I should use something different that has less code bloat. What should I use? Isnt FW made for this purpose? |

Use this in Dreamweaver: http://www.projectseven.com/tutorial...ion/snapmenus/ Or use the example to teach yourself how to write the code by hand. > Isnt FW made for this purpose? No, FW was made to be a professional vector illustration application for screen images, with limited support for bitmaps and even more limited support for HTML. The pop-up menu capability was presumably added to sell more copies to newbies, but the code is based upon an ancient hack from a Netscape 4 developer. |

Check out opencube - once you get passed paying for it, it's a great solution. Fed-ex, Best Buy, and plenty of other big companies use it.

Don't touch it with a 10 foot pole. It's just really crappy stuff.
