I've been receiving this message:
"An ftp error occurred - cannot make connection to host. Your login or password is incorrect. Please check your connection information." when trying to set-up and download active websites originally built in FrontPage. Do Dreamweaver & FrontPage not play well with each other? Why would that affect my being able to connect to my websites via Dreamweaver? I have double and triple checked the logins and passwords. They are correct. Also, I have no problem setting up and uploading a new site. Remote Info Site Definition Settings: Access: FTP FTP host: www.mywebsite.com Host directory: blank Login: my login Password: my password I've: tried with passive FTP checked and unchecked tried with Secure FTP checked and unchecked Unchecked FTP performance Optimization in Server Compatibility Thanks to anyone who can help ![]() |
