Design View
I've probably done something stupid here;
Our IT manager replaced our server over the weekend (incase this has anything to do with it) On friday my site was all fine I opened it today to continue to work and found I had to remap the site file... No problems However; I know can only view the code in either the code or design view When I preview the page in a browser - which when i do is fine I 'can not' see anything in the design view graphically??? Have I done something daft??? Rich Text

This is a long shot, but make sure that this setting is ON: View > Style Rendering > Display Styles HTH, Randy > In further investigation I have found that the AP elements do not list in CS3 in design view... > > But they do display in a browser preview

Hi Rich,
Did you ever get an answer here? I have had this problem when adding in an include file from time to time. By removing the include link the page sometimes comes back in simple terms meaning I have added something wrong in the inlcude. I have been able to get around this but was hoping you have a technical answer given to you.

Rich,
Make sure that your include file does not have any <html>, <head>, or <body> tags. It should have only an HTML "snippet". HTH, Randy > Did you ever get an answer here? No problems there Randy. I have looked at teh code over and over and can't see
why Dreamweaver would not shold the items in design view. All I see is a blank table but nothing else. Load it up onto teh internet and everything reads fine. I do get a message to correct invalid HTML when I open the page. Do you think this is it and what do I need to do. It is all Dreamweaver code. Line 346 Col 219 : Closed a <img> tag that was left unclosed. Line 374 Col 192 : Closed a <img> tag that was left unclosed. Line 398 Col 184 : Closed a <img> tag that was left unclosed. Line 549 Col 37 : Closed a <span> tag that was left unclosed or overlapped other tags. Line 549 Col 37 : Split up tags that overlapped a <span> ... </span> pair. Line 549 Col 42 : Closed a <mm:decoration> tag that was left unclosed or overlapped other tags. Line 584 Col 39 : Closed a <span> tag that was left unclosed or overlapped other tags. Line 584 Col 39 : Split up tags that overlapped a <span> ... </span> pair. Line 584 Col 44 : Closed a <mm:decoration> tag that was left unclosed or overlapped other tags.
