I am working on a page that consists of a header and three other divs: two
sidebars enveloping main content. I am trying to re-position the right-sided sidebar (sidebar 2) so that it abuts next to the right side of main content, but every time I do it forces the main content div to drop down as if to provide room for the vertical size of the content of that sidebar. It's as though sidebar 2 is aligning next to the left-sided sidebar instead...even though there is no visible sidebar 2 content above the main content div--just empty space. Can anybody help me? I need to set this up so that the top margin of the sidebars and main content are at the same location below the header. Thanks. |

ok, for a basic positioning example, have a look at this
page:http://www.malcmabe.co.uk/float.html the css is http://www.malcmabe.co.uk/float.css note that everything is positioned within a main wrapper div, which is always a good ideal. don't know if you have this in yours malc |
