Default reinstall adobe updater

any way to reinstall adobe updater, or to reinstall some other program that will also repair adobe updater?

If you put in the CS3 disc, just unselect all of the applications and let it
re-install the shared components. I'm not 100% positive whether you need to
de-activate your products first, but I would recommend doing this before
re-installing though.

did that, which was saying it was repairing the shared components, but I'm still getting the admin permissions message. Should I just reinstall cs3 over again? will that fix it?
