I've tried finding out how to put hotspots in and I even looked in the help
area in the program and searched here on the forums and I couldnt find for
myself how to create hotspots. If someone could just point me in the right
direction where the tool is I can mess around with it myself to hopefully learn
how to use it and have further specific questions on it if I need it.

search the F1 help using the word hotspot.

Select the image, and look in the lower left of the expanded Properties
Inspector for the hotspot tools.

note: you cannot apply hotspot links to background images.
