Default Issue with Image Height

Hi
I do coding for html newsletters, we are having all kinds of issues with
Outlook 2007. I have a question about image sizing using an image inline rather
than in the background. I want a border graphic to fill a full vertical space
but I don't know how to calculate that height in pixels. Is there a way to code
an image to fill 100% of the vertical space? I try setting the height to 100%
in dreamweaver and the image doesn't display at all.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Rose

No. The solution you would need to do will require that you slice up the
border image into a top, side and bottom slices. Then use tables or layers to
place the border around your content. You can have the side image slices (left
& right) as repeating backgrounds in the table cells or layers.

Email clients like Outlook & Express will not tile background images, so
learn how to size your border graphics.

Hi
I know they knock out backgrounds. Outside of guesstimating is there a smart
way to calculate the height you need a border image to be? These are updated
for content monthly and the height fluctuates with the length of the content. I
spend hours guessing at just the right height.
Thanks,
Rose
