Hi
I do coding for html newsletters, we are having all kinds of issues with Outlook 2007. I have a question about image sizing using an image inline rather than in the background. I want a border graphic to fill a full vertical space but I don't know how to calculate that height in pixels. Is there a way to code an image to fill 100% of the vertical space? I try setting the height to 100% in dreamweaver and the image doesn't display at all. Thanks in advance for the help. Rose |

No. The solution you would need to do will require that you slice up the
border image into a top, side and bottom slices. Then use tables or layers to place the border around your content. You can have the side image slices (left & right) as repeating backgrounds in the table cells or layers. |

Email clients like Outlook & Express will not tile background images, so
learn how to size your border graphics. Hi
I know they knock out backgrounds. Outside of guesstimating is there a smart way to calculate the height you need a border image to be? These are updated for content monthly and the height fluctuates with the length of the content. I spend hours guessing at just the right height. Thanks, Rose |
