Default Does the Extension Manager work with Vista?

I am concerned that the extension manager doesn't work with Vista. This is a major problem if true...

I use Vista and I have no issues with the Extension Manager (from CS3)

I certainly have problems installing Dreamweaver developer toolbox under Vista.
It fails with 'Cannot update a file. The extension will not be installed.'

After checking a bit closer, I see that it creates files in

c:\Users\Administrator\Contacts\Roaming\Adobe
c:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Roaming\Adobe
c:\Users\Administrator\Downloads\Roaming\Adobe
c:\Users\Administrator\Favorites\Roaming\Adobe
c:\Users\Administrator\Links\Roaming\Adobe
c:\Users\Administrator\Music\Roaming\Adobe
c:\Users\Public\Roaming\Adobe

... all in all, a big mess. Looks like it's really not Vista aware (ver.
1.8.169). Anyone knows how to get the developer toolbox installed under Vista?

This is outrageous; mastering ADDT and DW for that matter are difficult enough... How are we going to function when XP is retired?

Interesting ... Has anyone managed to install the developer toolbox, available as trial on adobe page, on CS3 under Vista? It might be, that the toolbox is not Vista aware.
