Default Upgrade to PHP5

Well Spiritdomains has upgraded there server to only allow PHP5, and i am using
DreamWeaver 8 which i cant seem to figure out where i can change this setting.
I found a php55.mxp download that says it will allow for this but now sure
where to install it?

Ok so i just spent an hour on the phone with the DreamWeaver tech support
people, who explained that you can not change the permission settings in DW8.
So now i have no idea what to do, we tested the server and .html pages will
work but as soon as a change the file extension to .php i get an error. has
any one run into this?

Hi,

You should use the Macromedia Extensions Manager to install your
DreamWeaver extension. If you do this from within DreamWeaver, you'll have
to restart the application.

I'm not sure what you mean by setting permissions within DreamWeaver. If you
are trying to change the permissions on your web server, you need to use the
tools that the ISP provides to do that. You should have a remote login
capability such as SSH, telnet, etc, or you may have a tool called cPanel.
If you need help with that, you should call your ISP tech support line. If
they won't help, save yourself a lot of trouble and get a different ISP.
