Default Button action to run either a .exe or .msi file

I'm creating a basic screen in Director that will have three buttons.

Each Button will be pressed to execute a .msi file which will then launch and
install something.

I cannot import the .msi files as Director does not recognise them.

It this possible with Director?

Cheers

Check the docs for the 'open()' command. Also, there are a variety of
xtras that can execute external files.

You can find a Director 6 script that did just this, using the MasterApp Xtra http://nonlinear.openspark.com/tips/xtras/masterApp/. With a bit of luck, it might still work for you.

Thanks for the information. I'll check these options out...
