We are evaluating Director for a prototyping project where the application will
hold the shape of a skin, for instance, the way you can change Media Player
skins that have irregular edges showing the desktop behind our application.

Furthermore, if this is possible, would it be possible to use 3D content in a
projector? Like 3D switches or rotating objects? Or the entire interface
itself to animate in 3D to another functional interface to the application? I
suppose we could simulate 3D with sprites and masks. But everything I have
seen so far occurs inside a Projector rectangular window.

Thanks for any input. I'm not a Director user but researching options for
this project and Director came up as a possible solution.
