Clicking on the Fonts drop-down menu shows A- (about) E, but won't scroll down
to the other fonts on system.

All other programs access all the fonts. Impossible to use this (very
expensive) program with this limitation.

I had the same problem and renamed the fonts I wanted to use in Fontographer so they would appear in the list ie I gave them an 'a' prefix.
But you must then embed them in the movie.
