Default The parameter is incorrect

Hi

I'm having problems with Contribute 3.11 today that I have never seen.

In edit mode I highlight a piece of text, then right click and select "Insert
Link".

At this point I get a dialogue box error saying - "The parameter is incorrect".

It does not allow me to make a link and then the software crashes. Any ideas?

Graham

No clue why this happens suddenly for you. But you can update it to Adobe Contribute CS3 and try it out. Please have a look at http://www.adobe.com/products/contribute/features/

I am receiving the same error when I try to link to an XML file. What kind of file are you linking to?

I have had Contribute 3 running on Vista for almost a year, then yesterday I
got this error message. I upgraded to CS3 and same problem. I did run an adobe
reader update in the morning, and I suspect that created the problem. I noticed
that when you go to create a link, you don't get the same screen that it shows
in the screen shop on the help page. When the window closes, Contribute
crashes. (I can update pages as long as I don't try to create a link.)

I installed my CS3 software on my laptop (XP) and it works fine.

Anyone know the fix for Vista?
