Default CF7 and Ajax

Can someone show my a tutorial on how to populate a dropdown based on the value selected in another dropdown with CF7 and Ajax? I have seen tons of CF8 examples but I'm running CF7.

Default Re: CF7 and Ajax

as you know, cfmx7 does not have the built-in ajax features that cf8
has. so you will have to do it manually with pure javascript.
start by googling "javascript related selects".
you may also find this feature in some of the js libraries, like jQuery,
and their plug-ins.
but above all i would recommend Rob Gonda's ajaxCFC - it can help you
easily leverage ajax functionality in cfmx7 through CFCs and a bit of js.
