Is there any way to have a progress bar on the movie without the user having
the ability to click in it to advance past slides? I have a project that it is
mandatory that every slide is viewed for a requisite time (Government regulated
- ick), and am unable to find a way to add a static progress bar like was
possible in AW. Anyone have an idea other than going back to Flash to make one?

Hi MrFrankZ

If you are wanting something dynamically operated, meaning you drop it on a
slide and let it go, you might be interested in fellow Adobe Community Expert
Paul Dewhurst's site at
http://www.raisingaimee.co.uk/index....ew&id=31&Itemi
d=29. But those are simple counters.
http://www.raisingaimee.co.uk/index....ew&id=65&Itemi
d=28 is a slight variation.

Another possibility is to simply construct your own using images. I've got a
progress indicator that is nothing but images up on the Captivate Exchange. Not
sure if that will help, but it might.
http://www.adobe.com/go/captivate_exchange.

Aside from that, you may wish to contract with Paul Dewhurst to create a
custom solution for you.

Cheers... Rick :smile;

Thanks, Rick. As a matter of fact, I spend a fair share of time on Paul's site. I even felt compelled to make a donation thanks to his site helping get my feet wet in this whole Captivate thing.

Oddly enough, I already had your progress bar as well!

Hi again

LOL (For those of you that are acronym phobics, this means laughing out loud)
Looks like I'm full of redundant information today!

Happy to help. I guess... <grin>

So do any of those assist in accomplishing your goal? I'm guessing probably
not? :wink;

Cheers... Rick :smile;

I use C3, so I'm not sure that those would work. When I downloaded yours, I
was BRAND NEW to Captivate, and could not figure out how to use it. Can you
give me any insights?

And yes, anything that gives me ideas helps. 90% of what we do is
inspiration, and the last 10% is caffeine. Mine hasn't kicked in yet, and
Flash will not be opened up until it does. <G>
