Default Bullets not consistent

I want the same size bullets and same color as the word. Why is it so
impossible to get this to work? I don't understand why this happens at all.
Then when I finally do get the size to match, the word is one color and I can't
get the bullet to match the color of the word. It shouldn't be this difficult.

Hi there

The bullet was probably added before the text color was changed. There are
hidden formatting codes that none of us can see. But what you can do to change
the bullet color is to rapidly triple click the line. This will select the
entire line. Then apply the text color and the bullet color should change.

Cheers... Rick :smile;

Thanks a lot! But I'm still having trouble matching bullet sizes on some
captions with no coloring.

Highlight all the text in the caption, and change the text colour to red or
something, click away.

Then highlight all again and change text colour to what you want it to be
(black for instance) this should then correct everything to the same colour.

Also, did you paste any text in from somewhere else? I have found that this
leads to distorted colours and text. If so, before pasting into captivate, open
Notepad and paste into a that first, then re-select the text from notepad and
copy, then paste into Captivate. This little trick removes any pre-applied
formatting which it may have picked up in word etc or from a website.
