Default Text Entry Fields Locked

Okay I am building a simulation using captivate objects inside Presenter
courses (build with the presenter add on to powerpoint). These simulations
require the user to enter text and I have used "Text Entry" to simulate this.

However for some reason now my simulations wont let me click into and edit the
text fields once I have published the course. It doesn't happen for the basic
captivate file only after it's imported into presenter? Any ideas whi this
might be happening?

I have published an example one and made it public, you can view it
http://thegoodguys.emea.acrobat.com/p62449693/.

I will also re publish this question on the presenter forums.

I posted this last week and I am still having problems. It seems that by changing the version of Flash you export to one of the text fields (the first one you encounter) will function.

Benn,

That's strange how the first 2 work then the third doesn't.

Are you sure there isn't a click box or something, pausing the timeline before
the slide gets a chance to display the text entry box? That's what appears to
be happening.???

Thanks for your response. What is even stranger is if you jump to the second
simulation (slide 3) and complete it first, it works fine. Then go back and try
the first one again and it doesn't.

Pauses on the timeline were my first thought but the simulation works
perfectly on it own and there is no other interactions on the slide.

I am experiencing exactly the same thing in the same scenario. To what version of Flash did you export your Captivate files to get the text entry to (partially) work?

I could get one fo the simulations to work by exporting to Flash version 9.
Also I have lodged a case with adobe indicating this is a problem, I encourage
you to, perhaps if more than one person says it's a problem Adobe will actually
fix it.
