Default Transfer Data to next slide

I know this has been addressed but cannot seem to find an answer in the forum.
Is there a way in Captivate 3 to pass data from one slide to the next. For
example a person would fill out there name on the first screen and then on the
next screen you would be able to display there name in a statement. Like
Welcome {first name} Thanks for the help.

The files will do what you want, BUT I forgot that there is an interesting
history behind this file and that Silke is, unfortunately not the actual author
but the person who uploaded the original files (Hi Silke, my name is Andrew and
please don't shoot me :grin. So if the original author is on this forum, then
please forgive me.
