Hi group
I have a project file which consists of 3 slides. Each slide has a .flv video on it. I double click on the video and set the Option of "Display For:" to "duration of video" but the slide still advances using the time found in the slide's "Display Time" field. I thought the Display For field would over-ride the Display time field? And checking and unchecking the "Syncronize with Project" checkbox doesn't seem to make a difference. Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance! Nikki Lu |

Is there a reason why the slides should play one after the other?
If not, put a click box or button on each slide and let the viewer advance them when they are ready. This has the added advantage of giving the user a feeling of control. They may even want to advance the slide if they view this more than once. People often come back to a project like this to learn the parts they did not get the first time. Otherwise, I would change the slide to the actual time of the video. |

Hi all
Another approach would be to time the slides short. Perhaps a second long. Then in the video properties, if you click the Options tab you should see an option there that is labeled "Pause slide till end of video". This option normally prevents the next slide from appearing until after the video has completed. Cheers... Rick :smile; |

Ah Ha! That did it, Rick! Thank you!
And Thank you JLRiley. That approach would definitely work as well. I was just trying to avoid opening the video source files to find out the length. There are quite a few of them throughout the multiple courses. Have a wonderful day to each of you! Nikki |
